Passenger cars appearing individually across many regions of Poland bore the markings of the German vehicle fleet under the Bundeswehr and were spotted at tourist, recreational, and commercial locations.
Questions regarding inspections, accountability for the actions of German soldiers in Poland, and the safety of Polish citizens, directed to the Ministry of Interior and Administration, have thus far gone unanswered.
The Ministry of National Defense stated that representatives of allied forces are present in Poland not only as part of exercises but also during their preparations. Germany has deployed two Patriot anti-aircraft missile batteries from the 21st Luftwaffe Group based in Sanitz to Poland, along with approximately 200 German soldiers.
Several international military contingents are stationed in Poland, primarily as part of NATO's presence. Approximately 10,000 American soldiers are stationed in Poland on a rotational basis, with a permanent garrison in Poznan since March 2023.
A multinational NATO battlegroup under US command, numbering approximately 1,000-1,500 soldiers, is stationed on Polish territory. It includes soldiers from the United Kingdom, Croatia, and Romania as part of the Enhanced Forward Presence in Orzysz.
