The German Federal Press and Information Office, in a conversation with Aleksandra Fedorska, revealed that although Donald Tusk had announced a conversation with Olaf Scholz regarding the incident of transporting migrants to Poland, it never took place, and moreover was not even being planned. The news triggered a near-hysterical reaction from Donald Tusk.

"I spoke with Chancellor Scholz, so you can calm down the PiS trolls. It's a shame that even former prime ministers are playing the role of Putin's troll. Chancellor Scholz committed to investigating this matter,"

Donald Tusk declared after returning to Poland.

"Prime Minister Tusk held an informal conversation on the sidelines of the European Council summit in Brussels with Chancellor Olaf Scholz,"

the German government spokesperson reportedly told Deutsche Welle.

The information was published by DW at 6:10 p.m. Polish time.

Meanwhile, at around 12:00 p.m., Aleksandra Fedorska conducted a conversation with the German government press office with the following content. We attach the audio recording. Unfortunately, the name of Aleksandra Fedorska's interlocutor is illegible.

"Good morning." "I can barely hear you." "Can you understand me well?" "Yes, it's better now." "My name is Aleksandra Fedorska. I am an independent correspondent. I wanted to ask briefly whether yesterday or this morning a conversation took place between Donald Tusk and Chancellor Olaf Scholz. It concerns a certain incident on the German-Polish border." "Hmm. Please wait. I'll ask around." (hold music while waiting for the connection to resume) "No, no conversation or anything of the sort took place." "So nothing of the kind happened?" "No, not to my knowledge." "Could such a conversation possibly still take place?" "No, nothing of the sort is currently planned." "Thank you very much!" "No problem!"

"I will shortly be speaking with Chancellor Scholz about the inadmissible incident involving the German police and a migrant family on our side of the border. The matter must be thoroughly investigated,"

Donald Tusk wrote yesterday at 6:00 p.m.

Many hours later, the German government press office, in a conversation with Aleksandra Fedorska, denied that any such conversation had taken place, as well as any plans for one. We do not know what happened afterward — perhaps, as a result of the scandal that erupted in Poland, Donald Tusk did hold such a conversation. We also do not rule out that the German government press office misled Aleksandra Fedorska. The fact remains, however, that the only evidence confirming the Tusk-Scholz conversation is the word of Tusk and the German government spokesperson. We are publishing a recording of the statement by a representative of the German government press office.

"It turns out that the journalist spoke with the bureau's secretariat, and the answer given there was that no such conversation had taken place and none was planned. We made a mistake,"

the German government press office defended itself in a conversation with Deutsche Welle.

For several months, the practice of deporting immigrants from Germany to Poland has been intensifying. Most recently, it has taken on the grotesque form of German police officers dropping off immigrants on the Polish side.

The situation directly from the Polish-German border is being reported by Aleksandra Fedorska, a journalist for both Polish and German media.
