German police have released new data on immigrants caught residing illegally in Germany who were sent back to Poland. Editor Aleksandra Fedorska asserts that "it cannot be ruled out that Germany has begun conducting checks on Polish trains and on our territory."
In mid-November, editor Aleksandra Fedorska reported that the problem at the Polish-German border persists, and that over the past year Germany has expelled a staggering number of nearly 10,000 immigrants to Poland.
According to the federal police station in Ludwigsdorf, "an 18-year-old Somali man was found on a train heading to Germany."
A federal police patrol checked the young man on a train from Zielona Gora to Goerlitz yesterday afternoon at approximately 4:15 p.m. Initially, the Somali man was unable to identify himself. When asked again for identification, he reached into his left sock and produced a Polish certificate of refugee status. He had no other documents on him. The 18-year-old was taken to the police station to clarify the matter. It quickly emerged that he had been deported to Poland by the Goerlitz city prison a good five hours earlier. He had also received a ban on entry and residence on the territory of the Federal Republic of Germany. Criminal proceedings were initiated for an offense against the Residence Act, and after all measures were taken, he was returned to Poland.
Journalist Aleksandra Fedorska addressed the matter on social media, calling it a "very dangerous new development."
It cannot be ruled out that Germany has begun conducting checks on Polish trains and on our territory. This needs to be thoroughly investigated. (...) Please document all such actions and practices by German officers if they are being carried out on our territory. Please send accounts to: [email protected]
