I asked German police whether they were on duty in Slubice on March 8, while the demonstration was taking place there,
Aleksandra Fedorska reported.
I wish to inform you that on Saturday, March 8, 2025, there was no crossing of the border by Brandenburg police onto Polish territory,
the German police spokesperson replied.
Aleksandra Fedorska asked once more about the presence of German police officers in Slubice, this time attaching relevant photographic evidence.

Fedorska inquired.
We do not possess any information that could confirm that Brandenburg police officers were operating on Polish territory during the gathering,
the German police spokesperson responded.
On Saturday, Robert Bakiewicz posted a video on the platform X in which he described the presence of German police in Slubice.
Ladies and gentlemen, behind me is a German patrol car, but we are on the Polish side. This is what the border looks like here. What they are doing here — that is the question. Yesterday we were treated by the Germans in a ruthless, rude manner. Two armed police officers, then more arrived, threatening us that this is German land, German law, and we must comply, even though we were not doing anything specific. Today the Germans have come to watch over us,
Robert Bakiewicz recounted on Saturday, March 8.
On Saturday, March 8, a protest was held in Slubice under the banner "Stop Germany from Flooding Poland with Migrants," organized by the Independence March Rota Association.
Previously, the initiative had been refused by the Slubice authorities, including Mayor Marzena Slodowik. The organizers took the matter to court, but the Regional Court in Gorzow did not hear their appeal due to procedural deficiencies.
We asked the representative to supplement the application, but they did not provide the required documents within the deadline, so the court decided to return it,
said the Gorzow court spokesperson, Judge Roman Makowski.
However, according to Pawel Kryszczak, national coordinator of the Independence March Rota Association, all documents were supposed to be in order.
We waited for the decision for three days, and we had only 2.5 hours to supplement the application,
said Pawel Kryszczak.
Regardless of the legal proceedings, the organizers registered the protest with the Lubuskie Voivodeship Office under the simplified procedure.
Such a gathering does not require approval — only notification. However, certain restrictions apply, for example, participants cannot block traffic or step onto the roadway,
explained Roman Filonczuk from the Crisis Response Office at the Slubice City Hall.
