"Has the Polish Border Guard lost control of the situation on the western border?" Aleksandra Fedorska asks on the X platform, publishing the data.
Journalist Aleksandra Fedorska, citing German Federal Police data, reported that between January 1 and May 30, 2024, the number of "persons from non-EU countries deported from Germany to Poland" totaled 4,506.
At the same time, Fedorska reported that the Polish Interior Ministry stated that "3,578 persons were not admitted to Germany, of whom 63 percent were Ukrainians."
The journalist drew attention to the discrepancy between the German police data and the Polish Interior Ministry figures. In her latest post, Aleksandra Fedorska writes: "The Border Guard has lost track of more than 1,000 people or doesn't know what's going on."
It is worth recalling that in mid-June it came to light that a German police car crossed the border checkpoint in Osinow Dolny and left a family of Middle Eastern migrants on the Polish side. This provoked enormous public outrage.
Prime Minister Donald Tusk attempted to respond, assuring that he would speak with Chancellor Olaf Scholz about the matter, but as Aleksandra Fedorska discovered, no such conversation ever took place.
The German Federal Press and Information Office told Aleksandra Fedorska that although Donald Tusk had announced he would speak with Olaf Scholz about the incident involving the transfer of migrants to Poland, the conversation never happened and was not even being planned. This revelation triggered a near-hysterical reaction from Donald Tusk.
